Chalet for up to 20 with 8 bedrooms & 6 bathrooms at the foot of the slopes & close to shops - it's got it all! Chalet Maigret/Clouseau, located at the foot of the slopes perfectly blends access to the slopes & proximity to the Chinaillon village here in the lovely resort of Le Grand Bornand resort. It is fully central heated with underfloor heating. This luxury chalet is extremely well equipped and spacious (310m²) with a brand new Klaaf Sanarium (blend between a sauna and steam room). It can comfortably accommodate parties of up to 20 people in 8 bedrooms & with 6 bathrooms.
The location of this chalet is unsurpassed being right on a green run that leads directly to all the local ski lifts. It is truly ski-in, ski-out and drive-in, drive-out.
The floor is the heart of the chalet and is made up of two large open plan rooms with separate areas for cooking, eating and relaxing. There are also two cloakrooms and two toilets.
Two fully fitted kitchens have induction hobs, ovens, microwaves, large fridge/freezers, granite worktops, dishwashers, cooking utensils and even 2 Nespresso machines. There is ample storage space for all your provisions.
There are French windows that open out from the kitchens to the large wooden deck at the back where you'll find ample outdoor seating, loungers & BBQ area.
The dining area has a large table and chairs with matching sets of glass, crockery and cutlery for 20 people.
The two sitting rooms are well furnished with comfortable modern sofas (all brand new since Summer 2018!) and matching curtains. There is a wood burning stove, (logs are provided for free). There is a large flat screen TV with Freesat, broadband internet as well as a good selection of books and games. A telephone is provided and comes with a special package that comes with unlimited calls to UK (and most European) landlines.
French windows lead out onto the balcony at the front of the chalet with good views to the Col de la Colombière. This Col is one of the "classic" routes of the Tour de France and the race passes over it most years.
On the second floor are six twin rooms, each with a balcony. These beds can either be made up as singles or pulled together to make king size double beds (on request!). There are also four bathrooms two with a bath, basin and toilet and the other two with shower, basin and toilet. On the ground floor there are two further bedrooms, each with 2 sets of full-sized bunk beds. There are two shower rooms with basin and toilet.
There are two heated laundry rooms, each with a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing equipment and the two large garages with ample storage space.
Recently the chalet has been equipped with ski boot warmers enabling you to go back onto the slopes with warm, dry feet.
Extra services include full provision of linen, a mid stay clean and a personnalized meet and greet.
